SAMADHI MANDIR

The Samadhi Mandir is the main temple where Sai Baba’s mortal remains are interred.
Originally built by a devotee named Shreemant Gopalrao Booty, a wealthy man from Nagpur.
It is made of white marble and has a beautiful idol of Sai Baba sitting on a throne.
The idol was installed in 1954, sculpted by Balaji Vasant Talim of Mumbai.

A life-size idol of Sai Baba is seated over the tomb.
Aarti is performed four times a day:
Kakad Aarti (Morning) : 4:30 AM
Madhyan Aarti (Noon) : 12:00 PM
Dhoop Aarti (Evening) : 6:30 PM
Shej Aarti (Night) : 10:00 PM
Thursday is considered the most auspicious day with large crowds and processions.
